HISTORY
ABOUT FLYBOARD OF MONTANA
Growing up on the lakes of North Dakota and Montana, watersports was always not only a leisure past time but also a passion for me. Hi, I'm Justin, as seen above, owner and operator of Flyboard of Montana, located in Whitefish, Montana & Flyboard Playacar located in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
Considering the usual temperament of North Dakota and Montana, as soon as winter was over, you could find me in the water... fun in the sun, jet skis and boats, pontoons and fishing, you could say I was made to live on any shore.

Sooner rather than later, I realized my passions laid where the water touches the shoreline and considered my first ventures in the leisure and recreation industry as a jet ski and pontoon rental business but after a friend of mine came back from Costa Rica with videos of this new and very exciting, never before seen activity called Flyboard, my captivation with the watersport industry gave birth to a new business concept and so, Flyboard of Montana was in the making and established in 2012.

Whitefish, Montana is where I consider home as well as where I started my first Flyboard Shop, on the waters of Whitefish and Flathead lake.

Establishing Flyboard of Montana in 2012 was a life changing experience because I realized that I could build a business, establish a brand and create income value all while doing what I love and that's having fun while making a sustainable income.
​
Flyboard of Montana was the first of its kind in our state, allowing me to capitalize on a new, taking the world by storm, watersport trend that has now become a professional watersport.
​
Flyboard of Montana has now influenced numerous watersport and leisure and recreational activities throughout Montana and the surrounding states and has jump started the watersport industry in Montana as a whole, bringing together families and communities having fun on our lakes and shorelines once again, getting people outside, active and excited about visiting.

HYDROFLIGHT SPORTS
After the success of Flyboard of Montana and bookings coming from all over the surrounding states, I realized that a ton of those bookings were out of North Dakota and with that information we set out on establishing a branch in Bismarck, North Dakota on the mighty Missouri River.

As time would tell and success very well logged, Hydroflight Sports was on the books and in the bank, established in 2014, just 2 years after Flyboard of Montana.
​
With Hydroflight Sports in North Dakota and Flyboard of Montana running simultaneously and in full effect, Hydroflight Sports was successfully sold in 2015 to a very happy new business owner and became the first affiliate partner of Flyboard of Montana.
​
Hydroflight Sports is still currently a successful business that can be found on the shores of the Missouri River in North Dakota.

Flyboard of Playacar
FLYBOARD OF PLAYACAR
Vacationing in Playa del Carmen, Mexico annually for over 7 years opened my eyes to the international aspect of this lucrative and exciting venture and after 2 year of planning, relationship building and investigation, Flyboard of Playacar was established in 2017 where we are now hosted on the shores of the Iberostar Resort and about to permanently take up residence in a second location that is the Barcelo Hotel Group, two world renowned resorts.

Success seams to follow closely to Flyboard of Montana as Flyboard of Playacar is our first international installation of our business, now franchising to the sandy shores of Mexico.
​
Playa del Carmen and Playacar, where we are located has now established itself to being one of the best tourist destinations of the Riviera Maya, bosting the best in hospitality, culinary and leisure activities experiences in the central, Mexican Caribbean region and Flyboard of Playcar is now part of the "must do" activities in the Playa del Carmen area of the Mexican Riviera.
